Harvest host and Yosemite NP, California

On the way to Yosemite we stayed at our first harvest host. A beautiful vineyard, almond grove and vege garden. We parked next to the shed looking onto the almond trees. At this site they had water as well as electric hook up, unbelievable seeing as it was all in exchange for some wine tasting and purchase if you liked it. What a pleasure. We ended up staying two nights. The wine was lovely.

Yosemite water falls

Yosemite NP didn’t have cell coverage, so for school we decided to camp at the Mariposa fair grounds and drive in.
Bridalveil Fall, Lower Yosemite falls, El Capitan – rock. A beautiful time of year to visit with all the waterfalls flowing from the winter snow melt.

Mirror Lake, Yosemite

Mirror lake, The photos show a beautiful serene lake, but in reality the rest of the family were all pointlessly arguing about whether there was a bridge that crossed the river, when it clearly shows on the rangers map that there is none.
