Memphis

A ride in a pink Cadillac.  A Visit to Graceland and meal of peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

A visit to "The Bass Shop".  A man's toy shop of boats, ATVs, guns, fishing and camping gear.  All too expensive for us.

  1. Loved the Elvis place and the bread and chips meal….yum. Great history of the ‘south’. You were lucky to get much of it….so what we really think is not quite fact. Bit like family history….she married a Lord…she did he was Alfred Lord. She married a Captain…he was a Salvation Army Captain. Your mother is always your mother, your father is only as good as your mother tells you. Jim is the only person in the family and his father was one of 13 children, and has heaps of rellies, who has diabetes….I did ask him one day who was the milkman…he was not impressed. A grat story of the south and slaves. Could hardly believe it. We have been told so much that they were freed to lead a better life…seems not all did. .Sad. BUT remember this history lesson, there is a test when you return. Love mum and Jim and feathers.
