Napa

Napa Valley Wine region and a road side stop for dinner. You are only allowed to stay at rest stops for 8 hours so we moved on to the next one but it was a bit exposed to the highway so we decided to continue on and camp behind a school. I would rather be confronted by an angry head master/mistress than an armed highway bandit.

We stopped at this lovely little seaside town so that Mack and Laura could catch up with school work. Lighthouse, seals, harbour and fog horn that blew all night and day. The Tsunami signs on the way there were a bit disconcerting and even more disconcerting was when Derek and I hear the alarm. I stuck my head out the sunroof to see if anyone else was moving and Derek googled to make sure it was just an alarm, it was.
