Mount Isa and Dalhouse Springs Trips via Birdsville, Ooodnadatta and Strezelecki tracks
Mount Isa
Johanna and I made a trip to Mount Isa to do some Maintenance on the houses. Cool weather and of course more work than we expected. We stuck to the original timeline though so had to leave some jobs for the next trip. Mount Isa was looking prosperous and the country was looking fantastic.
On the way back we stopped at Winton and visited the Matilda Centre to learn the history of Banjo Paterson. We went to the open air theatre and learnt the history of the Winton Cinema and nearly got bogged at the Long Billabong.
