St Joseph - Picking up the Truck
As we taxied down the runway in Kansas City I received a text from the dealers drivers that they were at a local shop awaiting my call to pick us up. We had a little hiccup at the airport when Sally left the bag containing our passports on the plane after we disembarked however once sorted we called the drivers and were promptly picked up and delivered to the dealer. From there Sally and kids looked over the truck and then were delivered to the hotel. I stayed and had the tour before taking my first tentative drive in the new truck to the hotel. It is a really nice truck.
We spent the next couple of days really just wasting time getting over jetlag and getting our bearings on the mainland. A highlight however was the steak. I can now say they consistently have the most divine steaks you could ever taste. In fact thinking about it they deserve a post of their own. I will just do another post so that the steak can be the feature photo.
I want those steaks from Wyoming….AND do you have little legs that go down at the back to sort of steady the camper if you are staying overnight? It really looks a good setup. You should be right for travel with it all and it is quite compact really without cramping everything. You will have to get a name for the camper…..
Maybe Robyn’s Folly sounds about right……only joshing, only joshing…….
Not so compact anymore. Will upload some photos now that we have the caravan(travel trailer) hooked up
Yes please. Would love to see the truck and travel trailer all together.
