On the way to Las Vegas, USA

After leaving Zion we boondocked at a lovely spot with plenty of space. Zion was full, there was no chance of getting any accommodation there. The next night we were crammed into a KOA at St George, the only reason we were there was to pick up mail and the generator Derek had ordered. We are trying to set ourselves up for better/longer boondocking.

We crossed from Utah, through a corner of Arizona then onto Nevada.

Viva Las Vegas, Navada, USA 9th May 2019

Viva Las Vegas

What a place, so completely over the top that it was quite imaginative. The KOA we stayed at was at Sam’s Town so we took advantage of a few cheap movies and their free shuttle into the strip.

Kids enjoyed the movies but didn't know what to think of Vegas, Laura was not impressed - old, fat people sitting around smoking and gambling, hundreds of machines and tables.

After deciding the generator was no good Derek ordered some solar panels which he and Mack installed while we were there. Hopefully they work well and we can spend some more time boondocking.
